prettyPhoto and prettyBox
If you didnt see the prettyBox module we put together for the January 2009 release Canvas then you need to take a look at it. Its a beautiful way to implement a gallery uin a module on your Joomla site. There are plenty of options available fro cropping and resizing images and then displaying the original image in a lightbox. You can view full setup information on the Canvas demo site.
PrettyPhoto is athe lightbox we used in the prettyBox module. It can also be used in stand alone mode. You can see some setup and markup instructions on the Canvas demo site .
FaceBox
The microBlog module that comes with the Organica template uses a nifty little technique where you can popup the introtext and fulltext of a content item in a lightbox called faceBox. You can read more about the microBlog module here. However you can also use the faceBox script as a stand alone option. Check out the instructions below for how to go about doing this.
Template Parameters
Organica has a diverse range of parameters accessible in the template administrator in Joomla 1.5 and the index.php file in Joomla 1.0.
